INTERNATIONALIZATION
OF THE CURRICULUM
The internationalization of the curriculum consists of incorporating international and intercultural dimensions in the curriculum and pedagogical practices to promote the development of competencies for global citizenship.
Although there are many ways to internationalize the curriculum, I point out some very simple examples to implement:
1.- teach an existing course in collaboration with an educational center abroad,
2.- use international case studies,
3.- develop service learning projects with local cultural groups or local international organizations,
4.- propose collaborative work for the design of solutions to global problems, etc.
